Build Your First Working App with Lovable
Come with an idea. Leave with a working first prototype.
For founders, solopreneurs, consultants and small-business owners who already have an idea and want to turn it into something they can actually test, show and build on. No coding needed, and your idea can still be rough.

Why this workshop exists
It started with a problem, not a product.
About 11 months ago, Tima was not trying to become an app builder. She was trying to solve a real problem. While navigating family caregiving, she became frustrated by fragmented information, multiple apps and workflows that did not work well together.
She had an idea for a better way, but she was not a developer. Lovable gave her a way to turn that idea into a real prototype. The idea became OmsorgSync, a HealthTech startup, and the prototype helped her validate the concept, work with users, enter incubator and accelerator programmes, pitch to investors and access startup support and funding opportunities.
Since then, rapid prototyping has become an important part of how she works with business problems, workflows, AI and innovation. Today she is a Lovable Expert, and a Business Transformation & AI Enablement Consultant.
What you will build
This is a build session, not a webinar.
You won't sit and watch someone else build. You'll build your own idea, with hands-on guidance when you get stuck. Bring something like:
- An internal business tool
- A consumer app
- A client or customer portal
- A marketplace
- A workflow tool
- A simple SaaS or MVP concept
- A service or operational tool
- An AI-powered assistant or tool
The goal is not a fully production-ready, complex application in one session. The goal is to turn your idea into a functional first prototype that can be tested, demonstrated and developed further.
What we will do together
From a rough idea to something you can click through.
01
Problem
Define the problem. Clarify what you are actually trying to solve.
02
User
Define the user. Understand who the solution is for.
03
Outcome
Agree what a good result looks like for that user.
04
MVP Scope
Scope the first version. Decide what belongs in the prototype, and what does not.
05
User Flow
Map how someone should move through the experience.
06
Prompting
Prompt Lovable effectively: communicate product, functionality and design.
07
Build
Create the first working version in your own Lovable account.
08
Test
Try it. See what works and what is confusing.
09
Refine
Improve the parts that get in the way.
10
Next Steps
Decide whether to validate, iterate, launch or develop the idea further.
Think first. Build with intention.
Not every thought needs to become a build request.
Tima will show you how she approaches a project before and during the build, so thinking and building stay separate and every iteration has a purpose. You remain responsible for your own Lovable account, plan and credit usage, and a paid plan with enough credits for active building is recommended.
In the session, you will learn how to
- Clarify what you are actually trying to achieve
- Structure requirements before opening the builder
- Decide what belongs in the first version
- Prepare stronger, clearer prompts
- Think through workflows before building them
- Know when to use Lovable for planning and when to build
- Review an existing build before changing it
- Avoid unnecessary rebuilding and avoidable back-and-forth
Use the right AI tool for the right job
Lovable is where we build. Other AI tools can help us think, clarify and prepare before we build.
You will learn how to use ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot or a similar general-purpose assistant strategically alongside Lovable. A free account is sufficient for the supporting exercises where available.
- Thinking through an idea
- Clarifying requirements
- Challenging feature creep
- Structuring an MVP
- Mapping a workflow
- Drafting copy
- Preparing prompts
- Troubleshooting conceptually
- Reviewing options before changing the build
The point is better decision-making and more deliberate building, not a cost-saving hack.
Take the prompts with you
A reusable prompt library.
Every participant receives a reusable prompt library designed to help you keep building after the session. These are not magic prompts. They are reusable structures that help you communicate more clearly with AI tools.
- Clarifying the problem
- Defining the user
- Scoping an MVP
- Planning features
- Mapping a user journey
- Starting a Lovable project
- Requesting design changes
- Refining functionality
- Troubleshooting
- Reviewing what has already been built
- Planning the next iteration
What you leave with
You won't leave with notes. You'll leave with something you built.
- A clearly defined use case
- A defined target user
- A scoped first version / MVP
- A basic user flow
- A structured approach to prompting
- A better understanding of how to work with Lovable
- A more intentional AI-assisted building workflow
- A working first prototype
- A reusable prompt library
- A reusable Idea → Prototype framework
- A clear next-step plan
- Workshop recording access
- A 15-minute individual follow-up Q&A

This workshop is for you if
- You are a founder, solopreneur, consultant or small-business owner
- You already have an idea you want to turn into something testable
- You have been sitting on an app or tool idea because you cannot code
- You want to prototype before spending heavily on development
- You want to test an internal tool or workflow idea
- You want to work more intentionally with AI-assisted building
- You learn best by actually doing
Not yet
This may not be the right workshop if
- You want someone else to build the entire product for you during the workshop

What you need before the session
- A laptop
- Reliable internet
- Your own Lovable account
- Sufficient Lovable credits for active building
- Preferably a Lovable Pro account or equivalent paid plan
- Access to a separate AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Copilot. A free account is sufficient
- An idea you want to prototype. It can still be rough
- Willingness to experiment
Please note
Lovable subscription costs and Lovable credits are not included in the workshop price. Participants are responsible for their own Lovable account, plan and credit usage.
Pre-work
A short questionnaire is sent by email before the workshop:
- What are you trying to build?
- Who is it for?
- What problem does it solve?
- What would the simplest useful version do?
